At LBCA, we welcome players of all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Bensalem Classes are temporarily suspended.​

 

New 8 week session starts in Yardley on Monday,Nov7th and runs for 8 weeks until Jan 2nd. Beginner Class 6-7 PM. Advanced Class 7-8 PM.

 

New 8 week Online session starts Wednesday,Nov 9th 7-8 PM and runs for 8 weeks until Jan 3rd.

 

New 8 week session starts in Yardley on Thursday,Nov 10th and runs for 8 weeks until Nov Jan 4th. Beginner Class 6-7 PM. Advanced Class 7-8 PM.

​​LBCA offers in-person classes in two locations, for both youth and adults, at our Yardley location every Wednesday night, and our Bensalem location every Thursday night. Classes for beginners are held from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

​

Classes for advanced players are held from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

​

In the Beginner Class students will learn how to move the pieces and basic strategies and tactics. The beginner class  is more casual than the advanced class. The class is taught by National Life Master, former PA State State Quick Champion Bela Kis.

​

In the Advanced Class, participants play USCF rated games and go over master games, learn basic tactics, strategies, plans, learn how to assess positions, and learn endgame principles and strategies. There will be structured lessons along with supervised play during the class. The class is taught by NM Bela Kis.
